About Us

The NHGCSA is comprised of approximately 165 members from New Hampshire and our neighboring states of Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts and New York.  There are regularly-scheduled membership meetings throughout the year, which usually include a brief business meeting, discussion or education on a topic of interest, lunch, and golf (weather permitting).  To fulfill our commitment to provide scholarships and fund research, we sponsor two major fund-raising golf tournaments for this purpose.  We also organize and sponsor an annual Education Day workshop in December.  A ten-member Board of Directors oversees the activities of the organization and meets monthly.  TurfTalk, the official NHGCSA newsletter, is published five times a year.  As an official chapter of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, superintendents holding membership in the NHGCSA must also be a member of the GCSAA.
